The Boutin Family
You may be wondering, who came up with this idea and why would they choose tiny homes?
Well this all started 17 years ago when Zac was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma as an adolescent. His family had to move to Rochester for the unforeseen future. Back then, rental options were hard to come by, and they were not tailored to Mayo Clinic patients. After staying in Rochester for over a year to receive all of the cancer treatments, Zac envisioned a better option for patients in the future.
Flash forward to now, Zac has been working in the trades, construction and real estate for his entire adult life. We live in downtown Rochester and are raising our family here. He decided to build a "Tiny Home Community" with the hopes that it would cater to many of the needs of Mayo Clinic patients, their families, traveling nurses & doctors, as well as families moving between their old and new homes.
Our Downtown Cottages are officially available for rental through AirBnb, and we are looking forward to hosting you here in downtown Rochester - just a few blocks away from the Mayo Clinic Campus!

Friendly Design
One of the ways in which we provide exceptional value is with the design of our cottages. We were very intentional when it came to the layout and grading of the property. There are ZERO stairs, and parking is immediately next to each cottage. Just inside the front door is a bench, for ease of taking shoes off and on.
Loads of Amenities
Our customers deserve the all modern conveniences while traveling! Including a washer and dryer in each unit, steamer for wrinkly clothing, lots of pillows and spare linens, full kitchens stocked with cookware, Keurig coffee makers with coffee, creamer & sugar, refrigerators with filtered water and ice makers, extra towels and toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner/body soap, hair dryers, tissues, etc.
Comfort is key!
We want to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible while traveling! There are deep soaking tub/shower combos, queen sized beds, queen sized pull-out sofas, a dining nook, and tall elongated toilets for your convenience.
Advanced Tech
Each cottage has a 55" and 32" smart TV where you can log into any of your favorite subscription networks. They also have high speed fiberoptic wifi, with 2 GIG perfect for streaming, working remote, gaming, and video calls! There is also electronic keypad entry, and security cameras on the exterior of each cottage.
